I don’t have a whole lot of pictures of my mom and I as I was growing up saved in mobile places, but I do have this nugget. The fostering of a lifetime of nerdiness. One thing is for sure. My mom kept me well supplied in Mario memorabilia. And to a mom who never really stifled the things that I loved I want to say happy Mother’s Day. My dad has always been my playmate but my mom has always been my encourager. And that’s one thing out of the many that I have to be thankful for.

INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US COLLECTOR’S EDITION UNBOXING

Today we have a closer look into the contents in the Collector’s Edition of DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios’ comic fight game Injustice: Gods Among Us. 

Included in this Collector’s Edition:

- a copy of the game
- bonus DLC content (New 52 character skins for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman)
- a digital download copy of Justice League Doom animated film
- a copy of Injustice: Gods Among Us Vol #1 comic book
- a 13” statue featuring Wonder Woman fighting Batman 

The crown jewel in this Collector’s Edition is the 13” statue featuring a vicious beatdown between comic titans Wonder Woman and Batman. It’s incredibly detailed with the two characters in mid-fight.

The Amazonian has The Last Son of Krypton’s childhood rocket in hand and is posed to strike a final crushing blow against the Dark Knight but you can see he’s struggling to work out his counter escape plan until his last breath.  

Comic fans and fighting game fans are sure to enjoy this edition without breaking the bank since it’s only $99. The accompanying digital movie download and bonus DLC make this bundle a decent buy-in but it would have been nice to include the Season Pass (w/ 4 new DLC Characters including Lobo!) at this price to really give fans a bargain.

Battle Arena Finale Postponed to Honor Boston Victims

Tonite’s stream for the Injustice : Battle Arena live finale has been postponed in reverence of the events from today’s bombing incident in Boston.  Injustice officials went to their Facebook page to say;

In light of today’s event, the Injustice Battle Arena Finale has been postponed. Please check the Injustice Facebook page for updates on when the results show will be rescheduled. Our thoughts and good wishes are with the victims and their families tonight.

However there seems to be an image floating around saying that the first confirmed DLC character for the game will be fan favorite, Lobo.

All of that said, thank you Injustice creators for taking the time to honor those who have been deeply affected by the events today.
